UU congregations throughout the Pacific Southwest District are welcome to organize and conduct weekend retreats for their members and friends. These camps are essentially family camps, but since they are organized and conducted by volunteers from within the participating congregations, they are not shown on our “Family Camp” page.

If your congregation’s name is on this list and you are interested in participating in a camp, contact the person or committee at your church responsible for camp planning to find out details, and to register.  If your congregation’s name is not on this list, you can contact Camp de Benneville at (909) 794-2928 and we will help you get organized or, possibly pair your congregation with another if space is available.

Fire Burning Near Old Boy Scout Tank

The "Lake Fire" that has so far consumed over 25,000 acres of the San Bernardino National Forest began close to our Camp's southern border. Our Camp is (as of Friday, June 26th), undamaged by the fire. However, we have suffered financial losses due to the closure of Route 38 and Jenks Lake Road, and the evacuation of all campers in the area. A skeleton crew, including our director Janet James remains on site.

As of 6/25/2015, PSWD elementary summer camp is still scheduled to begin July 5 at the camp. Follow our Facebook Page for updates for status on the fire, and any additional impact on our camp schedule for the summer.
