Welcome to Pride Family Camp

A Weekend of Camp, Community, and Celebration for LGBTQ+Families

Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, 2025

Deans: Anna Barvir-Boone & Jeffrey Solomon

Join us for a joyful, affirming weekend in the mountains at Camp de Benneville Pines, where LGBTQ+ families come together to relax, connect, and celebrate community. From the moment you arrive, you’ll find yourself surrounded by laughter, support, and adventure. Together, we will enjoy everything camp has to offer — from archery to arts & crafts, and nature hikes to campfires with s’mores! But more than that, we build friendships, share stories, and create a safe space where all families are not just welcome — they are celebrated.

Who Is It For?

Hosted in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains, this weekend is designed by and for LGBTQ+ families. LGBTQ+ parents and their kids, queer youth and their families, blended or chosen families, this is your space to Camp connect and celebrate!

Note: All youth must attend with a responsible adult. This is not a drop-off event.

Why Do We Gather?

In a world that too often leaves queer families out, this weekend is a radical act of joy and connection. We gather not just for fun (though there’s lots of that!), but to show our kids — and ourselves — that we are not alone. We are part of a thriving, vibrant community that lifts one another up.

What Can You Expect?

  • Cozy cabins & fresh mountain air
  • Family-centered programming for all ages
  • Queer-led activities, workshops, and storytelling
  • Affirming space for LGBTQ+ parents and youth
  • Family-style dining with all your favorite camp meals
  • A camp experience where your whole family is seen and safe

Accommodations:

Camp de Benneville Pines welcomes you to a peaceful night’s rest in one of seven sleeping cabins. The cabins are scattered throughout our beautiful property, surrounded by forest, and walking distance from all camp activities and other buildings. Each cabin is distinctively decorated with a mountain theme. All offer rustic comfort.

Cabins host between three and nine sleeping rooms and two to three communal bathrooms. Standard accommodation includes twin bunk beds, and there are optional cabin upgrades for cabins with kitchens and living room areas, as well as rooms with double beds, or a combination of the two. Cabin upgrades are limited so register early.

Experience the joy of togetherness in our cozy cabin retreats, where each family is provided a private room to create their own haven of relaxation. For individual adventurers or friends journeying together, our cabins offer a harmonious blend of community and comfort, accommodating 2-4 guests per room. We understand the value of companionship, so we invite you to personalize your stay by requesting roommates during the registration process or asking friends and family to join you ensuring your camp experience is shared with familiar faces and new friends alike.
