After months of staying home, missing hugs between friends, limited outings, and uncertainty, we still cannot make your life “normal” again. However, we can give you one certainty. Summer camp! And, since you cannot come to Camp de Benneville Pines, virtual camps are coming to you.
Camp de Benneville Pines is a place of fun, magic, and memories. It is a beautiful, peaceful spot in the mountains. However, camp without campers might just be another spot on the map. So, maybe you are the magic. Maybe fun and memories can be had by joining others in a new manner.
It is Summer. It is time to remember, or discover, the joy of the essence of a camp gathering. It is time to honor and take time for yourself. It is time to laugh, learn, reminisce, and be a part of history. It is time for something new. It is time for Virtual Camp.
We have all spent months of adapting, coping, and adjusting to new routines. Let camp add a bit of tradition to your life. Or begin a new tradition and attend a camp you have not tried before.
Attend a favorite camp with old friends or try out a new one!
For more information visit https://www.uucamp.org/camp-calendar/ and click on the camps you are interested in to find out about the specifics of each virtual camp and to register. Zoom trainings are also offered in case you are hesitant to attend because you are uncomfortable on-line or new to Zoom.
The camps being offered at this time are:
Summer Break for Adults – August 8-12
Art Groove – August 14-19
Yoga Retreat – September 11-13
While camp will be virtual, the fun, friends, and fellowship will be real. See you there!
